I am a very upbeat positive person. My light yellow Labrador, Lilly, is very important to me and accompanies me often. If I’m not working you can find me walking through Hancock Village, working in my gardens, hiking, playing croquet, skiing, or visiting National Parks or the Maine shore. My husband had a heart transplant 6 years ago and is doing fantastic now, but it did give me a new and different outlook on life. I feel so lucky to be doing something I enjoy so much!
While I was growing up, my mother was both an Interior Decorator and a Realtor. Because of this, I have always had an interest in both areas; finding people the perfect home and getting the opportunity to see what makes homes unique and beautiful in the process. My husband David is an architect, so between the two of us, there is a lot of excitement about the beautiful properties this area has to offer!
I have great ties to this region – My husband and I were married on Mount Monadnock, and before I was a Realtor I owned a toy store in Peterborough for 8 years. For the past several years I have been lucky enough to call the beautiful village of Hancock, New Hampshire, my home.
I love every aspect of Real Estate; buying, selling, seeing properties, and, of course, helping to make people happy. I have been in the business for over 35+ years, and for the last 6 years, I have held my Associate Brokers License.
Emily joined Halliday Real Estate as an intern in January 2022, just as she heads into her final semester at Conant. She discovered her interests in marketing and real estate about halfway through her junior year. Emily has always loved looking at houses and doing everything she can to help people, therefore she thinks she would be an excellent agent.
After being accepted to Keene State College for the 2022 fall semester, Emily thought these next few months would be a great time to get a feel for the real estate industry and so, her internship with Halliday Real Estate began! She is hoping to get her license as soon as she graduates in June of 2022.
Emily is getting hands-on experience from the team lead, Sadie Halliday, as well as seeing the operational side of the team in client relations, organizational logistics, contract documents, staging, and anything else to ensure the success of the team and our clients.
Emily was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, but she has been a resident of Jaffrey, NH for the past eight years. She can’t imagine herself anywhere else. In her free time, she volunteers at the Got Lunch program in Rindge, NH, as well as runs the satellite branch of the program through Conant, and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Monadnock region. She also enjoys entertaining her two mini Australian shepherds, Oakley and Bodie, and her two cats, Arthur and Pepper.
Emily is eager to start helping clients and is looking forward to her future with Halliday Real Estate.
